WORSHIP
- Martin Luther -
"To gather with God's people in united adoration of the Father is as necessary to the Christian life as prayer."
As Lutheran Christians, we pattern our worship on the ancient liturgies of the western Church. Faith is a great singing congregation, joining our voices with a variety of instruments and many participants. We hear from the Scriptures centered on the Gospel texts throughout the Church Year. People of all ages serve as worship stewards and leaders, setting the tone of community participation from the foundation of Word and Sacrament and every baptism is a community celebration. The liturgy changes with the season and gives richness and depth to the worship experience.
CHILDREN IN WORSHIP
- Mark 10:14 -
Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
Here at Faith we encourage children to join their parents at the regular worship services of the community. By participating in this way, children learn about the centrality of worship for daily life. Children are welcome at the Holy Communion table to receive a blessing or bread and wine.

There are bags of soft toys and coloring materials available at the back of the Sanctuary. Children's bulletins are available from the ushers. Children who need respite can be taken, by an adult, to the Cry Room at the back of the Sanctuary.
